Aquent is seeking a detail-oriented Document Scanning Specialist to support our healthcare client's Provider Network Services division. This role is essential in managing the day-to-day activities of the Request for Information (RFI) and Pharmacy Network Compliance teams. You will handle time-sensitive, legally mandated requests and provide critical administrative support to ensure the team meets all internal and external compliance goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Support: Aid the RFI Team in processing time-sensitive requests required by law or in support of external legal processes.
  • Compliance Maintenance: Ensure all activities strictly adhere to CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) and departmental standards.
  • Document Management: Utilize scanning equipment and digital tools to manage large volumes of records; perform extensive data entry with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Workflow Prioritization: Organize and prioritize heavy workloads to meet strict turnaround guarantees for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist team leads and colleagues with various projects to ensure smooth operations within Pharmacy Network Compliance.


Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a professional corporate setting, preferably within healthcare or pharmacy services.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable navigating a Windows-based environment. Experience with office equipment (scanning/Xerox) is required.
  • Medical Knowledge: Ability to read and understand pharmacy/medical terminology, billing documents, and basic medical coding.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone presence and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Analytical Ability: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret business correspondence, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $14.25 to $16.05 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
