THE ROLE:

TheSystems Chief of Staffis theoperational and strategic righthand to the Corporate Vice PresidentComputing & Graphics Engineering. In this "hands-on" role, you willenable the rhythm of business, align cross-functional priorities,manage executivecommunications and coordinate strategic planning and deliverables. Additionally,theChief of Staffprovides trusted advisory support to the CVP and direct staff, focusing onoperational cadence,executive coordination,execution,and stakeholder management.

THE PERSON:

You are a proactive executor and results-oriented leader with the ability to operational-ize high level strategy into effective execution, swiftly. You possess the strong ability to develop and sustain positive interpersonal relationships, with a consistent record of influencing in a matrixed environment. Creativity and innovation in crafting solutions are essential, along with the ability to make decisions quickly to drive results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the crucial central point of coordination for the work of the CVP and leadership team.
  • Own the rhythm of business (governance) including staff meetings, executive reviews, operational meetings, and strategic planning cycles. Maintain a calendar of events (internal, customer, partner) for team/organization.
  • Prepare presentations for internal executive, customer, partner and public meetings and events.
  • Build and sustain relationships to engage deeply across the global leadership team; and with cross-functional teams, executive leadership, external stakeholders, and operational partners (HR, Legal, Communications).
  • Drive alignment across all stakeholders to drive strategic priorities through effective collaboration that ensures delivery against shared organizational goals.
  • Support strategic goals by leading overall strategic planning, and providing organization-wide program leadership, planning, and execution.
  • Lead AMD corporate deliverables to ensure operational readiness across the organization.
  • Work closely with HR to drive org-wide talent planning, performance optimization, capability development and cultural initiatives.
  • Enable a high performing, inclusive and innovative team and organizational environment.
  • Develop and manage all internal and external communications in partnership with Communications and HR.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Recent and thorough experience in the hi-tech industry, with emphasis at the System level; Experience in the semiconductor industry is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated project and program leadership success
  • A track record of working proactively, with a focus on execution and solutions
  • Demonstrated skills in developing and sustaining positive interpersonal relationships at all levels, both internal to the organization and with external partners and customers
  • Successful collaboration across multiple stakeholders in support of strategic objectives
  • Record of creativity and innovation in solutions
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Action and results-orientation with experience making decisions and executing quickly
  • Proven capability to manipulate, analyze and present complex data
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the use of AI are required

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • MBA is a plus
