Description: Work Schedule: 90% FTE, evening/night shift. 3 - 12 hour shifts, 7:00pm - 7:30am with every third weekend rotation and holiday rotation. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:
- Deliver specialized care for patients undergoing orthopedic surgeries, including spine procedures, hip surgeries, acute traumatic injuries, orthopedic oncology cases, and hardware removal.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to provide highacuity, resourceintensive care tailored to complex orthopedic needs.
- Support medical and surgical patients from additional service lines-particularly Neurosurgery-based on unit demand and patient needs.
- Manage diverse admission pathways, including patients arriving from the emergency department, outsidehospital direct admissions, PACU, and transfers from other inpatient units.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
Work Experience
- Inpatient Units and Central Float (Adult & Pediatric), Venous Access Team (VAT), Radiology, Hemodialysis, Cardiovascular Laboratory:
Six (6) months nursing experience or current participant in UW Health's Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of the Nurse Residency Orientation on unit/similar unit. Required - Relevant RN Experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact Required
- Current CPR/BLS Certification Required
- Relevant Certification Preferred
