GenStudioFunctional Lead

Adobe Inc.
United States, California, San Jose
345 Park Avenue (Show on map)
Jun 04, 2026

We are looking for a technically-grounded Functional Lead for the Adobe-on-Adobe GenStudio initiative. This role will be partnering directly with Product and Engineering teams to co-create agentic AI capabilities for Adobe's internal content supply chain, while maintaining enough business fluency to translate technical outputs into actionable outcomes for marketing and operations stakeholders.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on GenStudio ecosystem experience and enough technical fluency to engage credibly with engineering teams. A background in coding is a plus - not because this is a development role, but because it enables richer collaboration with engineers and creates flexibility to explore alternative or interim implementations when needed.

As Adobe's content supply chain moves into its next phase of capability expansion - including AI-enabled workflows, cross-product connectivity, and agentic content operations - this role becomes the delivery team's technical voice in co-creation conversations with Product.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Build & Agentic AI
  • Partner directly with Product Engineering on agentic CSC capability development, including AI workflow design, orchestration, and cross-product connectivity.
  • Contribute to engineering builds using relevant languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, JavaScript, APIs, MCP integrations).
  • Participate in technical feasibility conversations during the design phase, not just downstream execution.
  • Support technical QA alongside Product Engineering prior to UAT.
  • Evaluate generative AI and agentic workflow approaches and advocate for practical, scalable implementation patterns.
Cross-Workstream Integration
  • Serve as the horizontal thread across all active CSC workstreams - identifying cross-workstream risks, dependencies, and gaps before they become blockers.
  • Maintain a living view of how workstreams connect and ensure cross-workstream documentation stays current.
  • Manage and prioritize the backlog of product requests flowing from the business into Delivery and Product.
  • Expand product knowledge beyond any single tool - staying current on the latest capabilities across the GenStudio ecosystem and connecting that awareness across workstreams.
Functional & Business Translation
  • Translate technology outputs and trade-offs into language digestible for business leads and marketing stakeholders.
  • Partner with Business Product Owners to understand current needs and articulate prioritization to Delivery and Product.
  • Contribute to requirements documentation, solution design, and UAT coordination where workstreams demand it.
  • Support change readiness, enablement, and post-launch optimization as capabilities go live.
Required Qualifications
Technical
  • Hands-on coding ability - Python, JavaScript, or equivalent; experience with API integrations and workflow automation.
  • Demonstrated experience with agentic AI frameworks, AI orchestration, or MCP-based integrations.
  • Ability to contribute to engineering builds and participate in sprint-based co-development alongside Product Engineering.
  • Comfort working in distributed, cross-functional technical environments with multiple downstream dependencies.
Adobe Ecosystem
  • Meaningful hands-on experience with at least one product in the GenStudio content supply chain ecosystem: GenStudio for Performance Marketing, Workfront, Workfront Planning, AEM Assets, Frame.io, Firefly, Adobe Express, or AJO.
  • Understanding of how Adobe's content supply chain products connect - from planning and creation through review, activation, and measurement.
  • Awareness of Adobe's agentic AI product direction and ability to translate that roadmap into delivery implications.
Functional & Leadership
  • Strong cross-workstream communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to translate technical complexity for business audiences without losing fidelity.
  • Experience working in agile, sprint-based delivery models alongside product and engineering teams.
  • Proven ability to identify integration risks and gaps across complex, multi-workstream programs.
  • For P50 scope: technical leadership across multiple workstreams with broader program-level accountability.
