Position: CAD Routing Designer Location:Remote, US Length:6+ Month Contract Please no agencies. Direct employees currently authorized to work in the United States - no sponsorship available Job Description: Seeking a CAD Routing Designer to develop electromechanical systems and tooling for commercially viable fusion power plants. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Siemens NX and Teamcenter, with specific experience in electrical routing paths, 2D formboards, and complex environmental design. This role requires a detail-oriented problem solver capable of managing technical documentation and stakeholder collaboration in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage the overall layout and organization of routing in Electromechanical systems using Siemens NX. Design routing for various environmental and operational cases or conditions, from cryogenic to elevated temperatures, in air and in vacuum. Follow manufacturer's recommendations or other requirements in selection of components, design parameters and application of the materials. Design in collaboration with stakeholders and be cognizant of necessary change and iterative approaches. Participate in design reviews as frequently as needed. Provide material and presentation for your own work or to others as requested. Manage time to ensure timely delivery. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electro/Mechanical or equivalent industry experience OR Associate's degree specifically in design/drafting Skilled in ASME Y14.5 & Y14.100 Standards for GD&T and Drawings 5+ years' experience using Siemens NX CAD and CAD routing tools to design and document routings and mechanical systems Proficiency using Teamcenter and/or Active Workspace Create electrical routing paths and cableways, qualify connectors, clamps and wire stock to build the routing library of parts. 2D formboard drawings and exporting pinouts / BOMs to PLM files Attention to detail with emphasis on clean organization, elegance, and simplicity over complexity The ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments POST-OFFER BACKGROUND CHECK IS REQUIRED.
