The Administrative Support Staff provides comprehensive administrative and financial support to faculty members. This position serves as a key resource for coordinating day-to-day administrative operations, processing financial transactions and reimbursements, and ensuring compliance with institutional policies and procedures. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced academic environment. Minimum Requirements Education: Bachelor's Degree or combination of education and related experience in lieu of a degree required. Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience required. Preferred Qualifications
Physical Demands: This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. Salary Range: Salary will be commensurate with education and experience. Exemption Status: This is a non-exempt-level, benefited position. Learn more about UVA benefits. Funding Details: This is a restricted position, which is dependent on funding and is contingent upon funding availability. Work Arrangement : This position is based in Charlottesville, VA, and must be performed fully on-site.
