Job Description




As a Security Officer Driver Field Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will use teamwork, integrity, and a people-first mindset to help create a welcoming environment while responding to site needs with agility and reliability.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, observe site activity, and document security-related events, incidents, and/or daily observations in accordance with post orders and property guidelines.
  • Support a professional environment by providing directions, assisting with routine questions, and reporting hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
