Summary Provides strategic oversight and operational leadership for all membership functions supporting Commercial and Healthy Blue lines of business, including eligibility, ID cards, member correspondence, and related processes. Ensures eligibility is loaded accurately and timely through close coordination with internal teams, eligibility vendors, and account partners. Partners across all Operations to ensure membership standards are exceeded and regulatory requirements are met. Oversees Quality Assurance for customer service operations to drive accuracy, consistency, and continuous improvement in the member experience. Description

Location: This position is full-time (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday in a typical office environment. You will work an 8-hour shift scheduled during our normal business hours of 8:00AM-5:00PM. It may be necessary, given the business need to work occasional overtime. You may be required to travel between buildings. This role is located at 4101 Percival Road, Columbia, SC 29229.

What You Will Do:

  • Directs and maintains the effective and efficient operation of the membership services department. Ensures department standards are met consistently and that staff performs at or above standards.

  • Serves as liaison to other departments such as marketing, underwriting, and operations.

  • Ensures departmental standards are met consistently and staff performs at or above standards

  • Coordinates with information services and outside vendors to ensure the accurate and timely receipt and loading of eligibility data.

To Qualify for This Position, You'll Need the Following:

  • Required Education: Bachelor's

  • Required Work Experience: 7 years of experience in membership services including either 4 years of management experience OR 4 years of equivalent military experience in grade E4 or above.
