*Patient Services Specialist (Medical Front Desk)*
Location: Columbus, OH (multiple locations - float role) Pay: $18.00/hour Work Environment Fast-paced outpatient clinical setting requiring frequent patient interaction. This is a float role, supporting approximately 14-15 clinic locations within the Columbus area (up to 30-40 miles travel). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, excels in patient interaction, and is committed to delivering exceptional service. Key Responsibilities * Greet patients warmly with professionalism and positivity * Guide new patients through registration and paperwork * Perform patient check-in and check-out processes * Verify insurance, obtain authorizations, and confirm patient information * Collect co-pays and process payments * Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage follow-ups * Document patient interactions in EMR systems * Support daily closing procedures and reconcile charges Required Skills & Experience * 1+ year of experience in front desk, customer service, or similar role * Strong communication skills (in-person and over the phone) * Proven reliability and strong attendance record * Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment * Strong computer and administrative skills * Reliable transportation (required for travel between sites) Top Skills - Must Haves: * Customer service * Front desk operations * Scheduling * Insurance verification & co-pay collection * EMR systems Nice to Have Skills: * Medical or healthcare front desk experience * Healthcare call center experience * Familiarity with Therapy Source or Rehab Toolkit * Insurance authorizations and benefits verification Job Type & Location This is a Contract-to-Hire position located in Columbus, OH (floating between multiple local clinic sites). *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
