Ideally looking for an A+ Certified PC Break-Fix Support Technician.
Should have at least 1 year of experience with PC hardware or IT Tech support experience. Shift: Monday-Friday: 7am-4pm OR 8am -5pm Car is required. This role is looking for a *PC Support Technician* with 1+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing end-user hardware, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. The position is highly *customer-facing and on-site*, requiring strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and provide excellent service while resolving technical issues. Responsibilities include *hardware break/fix support, ticket documentation, managing inventory/parts, and supporting loaner devices*, while following established processes. The ideal candidate is a *self-starter with A+ certification (or in progress), strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to travel locally, handle physical demands, and adapt to a fast-paced, walk-heavy environment*. *Description* Roles/Responsibilities: Performs hands-on and in-depth troubleshooting and associated repairs of failed client hardware. This work is inclusive to multiple types of asset, including desktop, laptop, cell phone. Cell phone (iPhone and Android) set-up and assistance for clients at an IT Service Center as required. Performs thorough documentation via check in and ticketing system of all service activities. Manages on-site parts locker including inventory control. Provide loaner devices, LVA, and work through appropriate system processes as needed by customer. Follow direction, and directives set forth by Dell Lead, as well as collaborative process guidance in customer atmosphere. Administrative requirements including adhering to process documentation for timekeeping submission. Ability to seek out information via online tutorial knowledge base, and gain understanding and knowledge from team and documentation. Works autonomously in providing on-site technical support to customers. *Skills* A+ certification *Top Skills Details* A+ certification *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Advanced hands-on experience troubleshooting, replacing & repairing client hardware; 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent of education and work experience. A+ Cert is required-or in process; other recommended certs: Net+; Security+; and ITIL Possess strong communication skills; both verbal and written. Exemplary customer facing skills Ability to utilize soft skills, de-escalation skills, and multi-tasking skills. Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work with little supervision or guidance. Ability to take ownership and drive issues to resolution. Exhibit a flexible schedule reacting to customer needs possibly 24x7. Ability to travel to multiple locations, including travel in traffic and mid-day trips. Must possess a birth certificate and/or passport plus a valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Physically able to lift 35 lbs. and walk long distances as well as standing for long periods of time.
