We are hiring a NestJS/NextJS Developer to join our team remotely (CST/EST hours)! Responsibilities * Design, build, and deploy scalable RESTful APIs using Node.js and NestJS * Develop cloud-native architectures supporting web and mobile applications * Analyze business and product requirements to translate into technical solutions * Collaborate with front-end developers, stakeholders, and other engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions * Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deployment across development, pre-production, and production environments * Ensure code quality, maintainability, and compliance with established development standards * Contribute to system architecture discussions and continuously improve engineering practices, tooling, and processes * Support and troubleshoot applications in production environments * Coordinate with cross-functional teams to test, validate, and release new features * Stay adaptable to evolving technologies, tools, and project needs Qualifications * Strong experience developing APIs using Node.js and NestJS * Deep understanding of RESTful API design and implementation * Proven experience building and deploying cloud-based applications (GCP or AWS) * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform) * Solid understanding of unit testing and test automation practices * Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) * Strong knowledge of database design, including both relational and NoSQL databases * Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional engineering environments Nice to Have: * Insurance/Financial service industry experience Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Boston, MA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
