Job Overview

The Manager, Production Control facilitates the day-to-day labor planning and wave coordination of an assigned shift. They manage daily activities to ensure facility and organizational goals are achieved. They also perform other related duties, special projects, or assignments as required.

The is a Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM-4:30 PM shift.

What You Will Do



  • Manage the wave planning on a shift, ensuring goals and targets are met or exceeded, while coaching and counseling direct reports.
  • Generate reports for management.
  • Ensure departments meet or exceed performance requirements in safety, cost control, quality, processing standards, flexibility, reliability, customer service, and plan execution.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to the retail division and senior management as needed.
  • Identify, develop, and implement short- and long-term strategies to enhance profitability, productivity, and efficiency across operations.
  • Analyze work processes continuously to identify optimization opportunities and implement improvements.
  • Develop and foster a successful work culture committed to superior customer service.
  • Establish and maintain procedures and metrics to ensure customer service satisfaction goals are met.
  • Oversee all aspects of inventory control.
  • Drive and manage organizational change to support growth.
  • Review analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecasts to evaluate progress toward department goals and objectives.
  • Develop training programs and ensure staff understanding and compliance.
  • Provide a safe work environment by developing and enforcing safe and smart work practices, ensuring compliance with AOSE and safety programs.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
  • Collaborate with IT to refine systems that improve operations, productivity, and service levels.


Skills You Will Need

Leadership & People Management: Strong leadership with the ability to coach, mentor, and foster a customer-focused work culture.

Strategic Planning & Execution: Expertise in developing and executing short- and long-term strategies to drive operational efficiency.

Operational Efficiency & Inventory Control: Proficiency in distribution management, optimizing processes, and overseeing inventory control.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze work processes, solve problems, and make sound decisions in complex, fast-paced environments.

Safety & Compliance: Knowledge of safety standards and ability to enforce compliance while maintaining a safe work environment.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on clear, continuous, and collaborative interaction.

Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office and IT systems related to warehouse management and operational improvements.

Decision-Making & Problem Solving: Ability to recognize issues, develop solutions, and manage multiple processes simultaneously.

Who You Are



  • Candidates with a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply.
  • This position requires heavy lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands
  • Involves standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 50 lbs. stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
  • May involve reaching above eye level
  • Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on department and company needs

Supply Chain Only and Colleagues Working in a Supply Chain Facility except in locations governed by a Collective Bargaining Agreement:

Random drug testing for all colleagues will be conducted on a monthly or semi-monthly basis, depending upon factors including but not limited to the size of the facility and the number of colleagues on roll. Colleagues will be randomly selected for testing by a third party. Testing must be completed on the same workday the colleague is informed of selection for testing, absent extenuating circumstances. In all circumstances, testing must be completed within 24 hours of notification.
