Scope: The Assembly Manufacturing Manager will coordinate production schedules and all intercompany communication in regards to assembly production operations and select products as determined by the Assembly Manager's leadership. Provide customer service and administrative support for the programs. The position supports the development and execution of assembly production plans which meet all requirements, including customer specifications and internal standards and processes. This position may require customer interface as designated by the customer service group, managing upward/downward/laterally across the organization. The Assembly Manufacturing Manager ensures product quality and customer satisfaction are emphasized.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assures that production schedules reflect customer program needs for designated product lines and proactively assures that the production execution is per the plan. Participates in or leads project meetings and contract reviews, and tracks progress of day to day commitments. Identifies any issues with throughput or quality related to the monitored programs, raises the issues with the production team, and actively works to resolve the issues in a timely fashion to minimize late deliveries.
  • Provides direction and leadership for immediate subordinates in the management of their assigned areas to ensure that their responsibilities for attaining objectives and satisfactory performance are met consistent with established policies and programs.
  • Develops and maintains an effective operations organization through the selection, training, development, compensation and motivation of all personnel assigned to the operations organization. Recommends and approves organizational structures and staffing requirements in support of company business objectives.
  • Responsible for communicating with customer to reporting order status including plans and delivery forecasts.
  • Evaluates material availability for new orders. Monitors progress on all program part numbers and reports any resource constraints.
  • Monitors the progress of various program orders against projected delivery dates and provides reports to General Manager on assigned product lines. Provides regularly updated cost inputs for use in pricing models as required.
  • Develops detailed project plans which meet the required customer and/or internal milestones, specifications, and product cost goals, within project budget and staff assignments.
  • Supports or maintains project plans regularly and reports to management on progress. When problems and issues arise, Program Manager participates in structured problem solving and root cause analysis, as well as the execution of appropriate corrective actions.
  • Assures process adherence with key process steps by all necessary means including auditing, process indicators, monitoring, and/or quality in-process observations.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of experience. Previous assembly and PWB knowledge.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous management experience preferred.
  • Customer service, sales or administrative background preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:

TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
