Job Overview:
In Sidney, Ingersoll Rand operates a mission-critical manufacturing and service environment where every schedule drives real production outcomes-and uptime is the expectation, not the goal. This is a fast-moving, highly interconnected operation supporting industrial customers who depend on precision-built components and compressed air solutions to keep their own production lines running. Nothing here is static-priorities shift, demand moves, and execution speed matters every single day. Step into the Production Planner role which is built for someone who doesn't just manage a schedule-they think several steps ahead of it. You're anticipating constraints before they become disruptions, protecting delivery commitments before they're at risk, and actively shaping what the shop floor executes next.

In a machine shop environment where timing, sequencing, and capacity all collide, your ability to see around corners is what keeps production stable and customers on time. This is not a reactive planning seat. It's a high-visibility role where strong planners bring structure to complexity-translating demand into executable plans, adjusting quickly when reality shifts, and ensuring work flows through the system without losing momentum. When the plan is right, everything downstream works. When it's off, it's immediately felt. Success here comes down to ownership, urgency, and clarity. The best planners operate with consistency and independence, communicate early when risks emerge, and take pride in keeping the system aligned without needing to be prompted. They're comfortable working across functions, navigating competing priorities, and making sound decisions in real time when conditions change.

If you're energized by fast-paced manufacturing environments where your planning decisions directly influence output, delivery performance, and customer trust-this is a role where your impact is visible every day.
