Patient Accommodations Coordinator - Room Reservations

This is a swing shift position consisting of two 12-hour shifts per week. Work weeks run Sunday through Saturday. Two weekends off every six weeks. Rotating between day shift (7A-7P) and night shift (7P-7A).

Job Description:

Manage and optimize the allocation of hospital beds to ensure efficient patient flow, maximize bed utilization, and facilitate timely admissions, transfers, and discharges. Maintain real-time bed availability information, coordinating bed assignments, and communicating with various departments to streamline patient movement within the hospital.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Two years of medical office or related experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in healthcare related field preferred.

• Previous experience in hospital services and medical insurance preferred.
