This role performs testing, analysis, reporting, support, and related duties for quality control in the production laboratory. The position carries out all activities and maintains laboratory assets in accordance with ISO 9001 standards and Solenis policies and procedures, while following all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Prepare samples for testing and analysis
  • Perform testing on samples of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products
  • Approve or reject samples and log results
  • Provide timely and accurate results to internal stakeholders, including Production, Quality, Packaging, Scheduling, Procurement, and other teams
  • Prepare reports, analyses, and technical input as required
  • Identify issues and take appropriate testing actions or escalate to management when necessary
  • Suggest improvements to procedures, protocols, or practices
  • Calibrate instruments in accordance with established protocols
  • Prepare indicators and support method transfer and validation experiments; assist with investigations as needed
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas and instruments; properly dispose of chemicals, samples, and waste
  • Monitor and order chemicals and laboratory supplies
  • Maintain records of sample analyses, certificates of analysis, and related data
Key Qualifications:
  • Experience with laboratory equipment operation, calibration, and sample preparation
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Excel and other Microsoft tools
  • Understanding of safety data sheets (SDS) and the ability to apply appropriate safety measures
  • Strong communication skills in a collaborative work environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to collaborate effectively when teamwork is required
Education:

Associate degree in a scientific discipline, such as Chemistry, or equivalent experience

The expected compensation range for this position is between $47,480.00 and $69,641.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
