GIS Software Developer

Location: Remote

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Software Developer with a strong background in GIS application development to join our growing team. This role will focus primarily on front-end design and development for GIS-based applications, while also offering opportunities to contribute to back-end integrations, Python development, and data ETL processes.

Key Responsibilities

  Design, develop, and maintain front-end GIS applications and user interfaces.

  Collaborate with project teams to create intuitive and responsive web-based mapping solutions.

  Integrate GIS data and services into front-end applications.

  Work with APIs, mapping frameworks, and geospatial data visualization tools.

  Support back-end development efforts including Python scripting, integrations, and ETL workflows when needed.

  Participate in software testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

  Contribute to technical documentation and development best practices.

  
  

Required Qualifications

• 
  

  3+ years of professional software development experience.

  
  
• 
  

  Experience developing GIS or geospatial applications.

  
  
• 
  

  Strong front-end development skills using modern JavaScript frameworks and web technologies.

  Experience working with mapping libraries or GIS platforms such as ArcGIS or similar technologies.

  Understanding of responsive UI/UX design principles.

  Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

  Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  
  

Preferred Qualifications
