Description

Purpose:

Our Inventory Administrator focuses on all aspects of hangar and Parts inventory, such as locating and negotiating parts, managing shipping method and deliveries, and performing shipping and receiving duties.



Responsibilities:



  • Manage Inventory levels and min/max levels
  • Locate parts, negotiate price and manage shipping method in order to deliver parts in timeframe required.
  • Handle AOG requests for local needs as well as supporting other locations.
  • Source new vendors for parts with no history and perform vendor audit procedures to get them on the approved vendor list.
  • Send rotable parts out for service.
  • Review and evaluate repair quotes, so not to exceed economical value.
  • Determine shipping method and final destination of parts.
  • Make sure all parts are properly documented to FAA, DOD and company requirements.
  • Manage local calibrated tools and shelf life program.
  • Perform local shipping and receiving duties.
  • Acquire and/or maintain hazardous materials shipping credentials.
  • Opening and managing work orders.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:



  • Basic computer skills and effective phone etiquette skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Inventory experience
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Basic math knowledge



Preferred:



  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Aviation experience
  • Experienced in negotiations
  • Experience using Envision



Education Requirements:

Minimum: High School diploma

Preferred: Undergraduate degree



Physical Requirements of the job:



  • Lifting, pushing, pulling requirements
  • Office or working outside - conditions
  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • Some repetitive motions
