Pay Rate: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour Depending on experience

Monday - Friday | 6 AM - 6 PM

If you've got sharp eyes and take pride in doing it right, this Quality Control Technician job in Lafayette has your name on it. You'll inspect, measure, and make sure every product meets the mark before it hits the floor.

What You'll Need to Get on Board

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred (not required)
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English required (Spanish is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation accuracy
• Basic math, writing, and computer skills
• Ability to work independently and support team-based production goals
• Strong commitment to safety, GMP compliance, and quality standards
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as required

What Your Day Will Look Like

• Maintain and manage master batch record documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Monitor bulk lotion levels and production components to support uninterrupted manufacturing flow
• Perform quality checks on products during filling room production runs
• Support Filling Room Lead, Manager, and Quality Manager with daily operational needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment in compliance with GMP and 21 CFR standards
• Ensure adherence to all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and material handling protocols
• Participate in internal and external quality audits and support audit readiness activities
• Follow and enforce Standard Work, 5S, Kaizen, Daily Management Control, and other Lean/OE initiatives
• Submit monthly KPI suggestions and participate in continuous improvement programs
• Participate in hazard hunts and support workplace safety initiatives
• Maintain and update Operational Excellence (OE) documentation during production cycles
• Assist in training and knowledge transfer to other team members as needed
• Communicate effectively with team members and maintain a collaborative, positive work environment
• Attend required safety meetings, plant meetings, and training sessions
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support production and quality objectives
