Application Programmer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Java Spring Boot Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role involves architecting, designing, and developing microservices for an Enterprise Content Management system. The solutions will be built using the Spring Boot framework, MongoDB database, Kafka, and S3 storage technologies. This position follows Agile development methodologies within a full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and develop microservices and schedulers for an Enterprise Content Management system
• Build solutions using Spring Boot, MongoDB, Kafka, and S3 storage technologies
• Follow Agile development methodology with a full set of tools supporting the software development lifecycle for code versioning, scanning, and deployments

Requirements:

• Strong foundation in data structures and software design
• Strong background in Spring Boot
• Thorough understanding of MongoDB architecture and data models
• Experience with database security and the use of JWT tokens
• Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle using technologies like BitBucket, JUnit, and CheckMarx
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to keep clear documentation of the database setup and architecture
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with large data volumes and high transactions
• Experience working in a Linux/UNIX environment
• Experience in developing scripts to automate frequent tasks
• Knowledge of best patterns and practices for designing document schemas
• Experience with Java MongoDB drivers
• Development experience with cloud technologies
• Knowledge of S3 storage technologies with Hitachi or Amazon

Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
