Schedule: 40 hours/week - 3 rd shift

What You'll Do:
  • As a member of an A&T Team, the incumbent develops new, and improves current processes to increase efficiency, to make hardware more producible and improve quality while maintaining customer requirements.
  • He/She will actively participate in team meetings, initiatives and report outs.
  • The incumbent uses effective communication skills to establish relationships with members of A&T, engineering and other supporting departments.
  • The incumbent will assemble, test, and diagnose complex hardware and equipment per written instructions, supplied engineering drawings or verbal instructions from the cognizant engineer.
  • The incumbent will technically understand and operate related inspection equipment, hydraulic test equipment, electrical equipment, pumping systems, environmental test equipment, and client's hardware.
  • The incumbent records and maintains accurate data records, and A&T logs, he/she also works in conjunction with the cognizant engineer to generate A&T Procedures, Failure Analysis, Quality Reports, and other formal documentation to support Development, Production, and Qualification Programs.
  • The incumbent is responsible for a product mixture of complex hardware that is multi-based including hydraulic, mechanical, electronic, pneumatic or hybrid.
  • He/She will collaborate with Product, Design, Environmental or Test Equipment Engineering on procedures and equipment to improve efficiency, and investigate hardware problems.
  • He/She will provide clear feedback to the cognizant Engineer as to the nature of these problems, diagnose and propose solutions.
  • The incumbent will be responsible for training personnel.
  • Training consists of transferring assembly, test and processing methods to members within the teams in order to improve workforce flexibility and lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • It also includes training new members in team concepts.
  • He/She will work to build consensus within the Teams in support of client's objectives and initiatives.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience in assembly, testing, troubleshooting, or diagnostics of complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electronic systems.

  • He/She has a working knowledge of A&T administrative network, production, development and qualification methods, and processing tasks to satisfy client/customer requirements.
