At Dover Family Practice it is our mission to offer personal and compassionate care to help individuals and families achieve their best health. We are located at a state-of-the art facility in Dover with on-site lab and imaging services. We are a certified primary care medical home. We are seeking a part-time (30-hour) Triage RN to work a schedule of 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. During the first 90 days, the role will be onsite all 3 days; after that period, Tuesdays may transition to a remote workday based on business needs. The position is primarily focused on phone triage, with additional responsibilities including nurse visits and cross-coverage on the clinical floor. The RN will work closely with one other nurse and collaborate with the broader care team to ensure efficient, safe, and patient-centered care delivery. Summary: Responsible for patient care and support within the outpatient setting through providing compassionate care, assisting in procedures, and collaborating effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions -Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards. -Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety. -Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care. -Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care. -Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations. -Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
