As a Security Officer Entry Control in West Terre Haute, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. At a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, Allied Universal Access Control professionals help monitor entry activity, verify credentials, and support a secure environment through visible presence, strong communication, and customer service. You will help document security-related concerns, assist visitors and employees, and contribute to smooth daily operations. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, processing visitors and/or contractors, and supporting security-related protocols for a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points for personnel, vehicles, and deliveries, document authorized access activity, and report unusual, suspicious, and/or unauthorized activity to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Communicate with employees, visitors, contractors, and responders regarding site rules, badging requirements, escort procedures, and other access-related instructions while maintaining detailed activity logs and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
