Overview

Coordinates annual evaluation process along with training and in-service enrollment for Home Health Aides (HHAs). Partners with management to provide scheduling support and assists the department in meeting established compliance standards. Works under general supervision.

What You Will Do

  • Generates a roster of aids and nurses who have been absent from work for an extended period of time; follows up with aides and assigns them to the appropriate status. Sends additional communication to aides as needed.
  • Documents communication to HHAs regarding compliance tasks and follow up including documenting appropriate corrective action for HHAs.
  • Creates and organizes weekday, weekend, and night on-call schedules and communicates schedule changes to management.
  • Coordinates scheduling of In-Service classes for HHAs.
  • Coordinates enrollment and payroll of monthly Dementia and Bone Marrow training classes for HHAs.
  • Coordinates and processes completion of performance evaluations for both HHAs and supervisors.
  • Liaisons with Health Services in regards to scheduling changes for HHAs.
  • Follows up on no-shows/reschedules/lateness of HHA's for In-service trainings.
  • Assists supervisors in HHA attendance calls as needed.
  • Performs general administrative tasks including answering telephone calls, sorting email messages and re-routing them, and sorting/distributing incoming mail. Covers front desk coverage and operations.
  • Maintains Home Health Aid(HHA) compliance in accordance with corporate policies, state regulations, and contractual requirements.
  • Supports rotational scheduling, including early, late, weekend, and holiday shifts.
  • Provides technical support and conducts training sessions to aides for all HHA applications.
  • Creates and distributes weekend and holiday coverage reports for the call center. * Provides feedback to management regarding opportunities to improve workflows. * Follows procedures to maximize operational efficiency and effectiveness of the unit. * Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required Bachelor's Degree preferred

Work Experience:
Minimum of one year of administrative and or compliance work experience required Experience in customer service required Strong organizational/administrative skills required

Demonstrated problem-solving abilities required

Computer literacy (human resources information system, word processing, email, internet research, data entry) preferred


Pay Range

USD $19.18 - USD $23.99 /Hr.
