Work Schedule:

100% FTE, full-time. Day shift, M-F 8-430pm. You will work at the UW Health 2404 Charles St Clinic.

We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant (RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT) to:

Play a vital role in patient care by rooming patients, collecting vitals, performing EKGs and phlebotomy, and assisting with treatments in a fastpaced, teamdriven clinical environment.

Build hands-on clinical expertise while working closely with providers to support procedures, coordinate care, and respond to patient needs.

Be part of a high-quality, safety-focused team by maintaining clean, fully stocked exam rooms, supporting infection control, and ensuring accurate, timely documentation in Epic.

Qualifications
  • Graduated from an accredited Associate degree program or Medical Assistant program or have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Required
  • Laboratory and phlebotomy training required within 30 days of hire. Required
  • Drug and alcohol screening, and N95 training required within 30 days of hire. Required
  • Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required
Work Experience
  • At least one year of professional experience in a clinic setting. Preferred
  • Computer experience. Required
Licenses & Certifications
  • RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification is required upon hire. Required
  • Bi-Annual CPR certification. Required
  • Active RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification must be maintained. Required
  • Audiometry certification through Northern Illinois University or Health Conservation, Inc. (HCI), required within 30 days of hire. Required
