ABOUT THE ROLE

The Marketing Operations Coordinator is a vital hub within the SC Johnson Lifestyle Brands team-connecting Marketing, Creative, Sales, and Operations to bring ideas to life with precision and speed. Based in San Francisco and reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations, this role plays a critical part in driving alignment, fueling momentum, and ensuring flawless execution across a dynamic portfolio of initiatives.

From packaging innovation to digital and in-store experiences, this individual orchestrates workflows, keeps cross-functional teams in sync, and maintains clear visibility across timelines, milestones, and deliverables. With a strong eye for detail and a passion for organization, they enable teams to move faster, smarter, and more collaboratively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Creative project coordination + management

  • Support Creative Operations Managers in the tracking of marketing and packaging initiatives across brands and channels. This includes building project plans, developing timelines + milestones, resourcing, meeting coordination, communication with cross-functional teams, and asset delivery:

    • Hands-on creative project manager for packaging artwork updates due to legal, R&D, and/or regulatory requirements and product extensions

    • Hands-on creative project manager for digital marketing communications, such as DTC, ecommerce and email that is produced by in-house Creative Studio

  • Liaison with Creative Ops managers, Sales, and Project Managers (PMO) in the development of sales samples and packaging comps

  • Own packaging content intake form (copy deck) for assigned projects. Includes the development of the copy deck document, cross-functional distribution, tracking, follow-up, and hand-off to production artist

  • Leverage project management tools to develop project plans, timelines, and set tasks for designers, copywriters, and production artist teams

  • Actively participate in weekly project status meeting with the in-house Creative Studio team. Communicate project risks and delays in a timely manner

Cross-marketing integrator

  • Support Marketing Operations team in the management and maintenance of the centralized Marketing Operations calendar - tracking the development of innovation, packaging design, sales deliverables, and go-to-market launch initiatives

  • Liaise with Marketing and Sales functional owners to ensure accuracy in key milestones

  • Flag when initiatives are at risk or off track and escalate critical issues to Marketing Ops Director

  • Support the development and refinement of tracking tools, dashboards, and reporting frameworks

  • Drive consistency in status reporting across brands and teams

  • Identify opportunities to improve cross-functional workflows and communication

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, brand management, or creative project management within an agency or in-house creative environment

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

  • Clear and effective communication skills across different teams

  • Familiarity with project management or workflow tools (Monday, Asana, Workfront)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Position is Full-Time, regular business hours, Monday-Friday

  • Office work environment: San Francisco, CA office

  • Remote work available once a week after 90-day onboarding period

  • Domestic relocation is not available

The Company's Total Rewards package is at or above industry levels. The expected base salary range for this position is between 98,880.00 USD - 129,780.00 USD. Job related skills, experience, education, and location will be considered in setting actual starting base salary. In addition to your base salary and depending on job level, eligibility, and performance, a total package may include profit sharing, a short-term incentive and/or long-term incentives.
