Candidate is responsible for ensuring the reliability, stability, and performance of the enterprise infrastructure across more than 150 locations. This role leads the operational oversight of the data center, core network services, and major infrastructure initiatives, working closely with both internal IT leadership and an external managed service provider. *Top Skills' Details* 1. Experience with Cisco or VMware/Broadcom is helpful, but the priority is understanding the concepts rather than specific tools. 3. Soft Skills & Stakeholder/Vendor Management: Clear communication, diplomacy, and the emotional intelligence to align a managed service provider and internal peers. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of broad infrastructure experience, strong conceptual understanding of data center and network technologies, and the ability to guide highlevel architectural conversations. While specific vendor platforms (Cisco, VMware/Broadcom, etc.) are helpful, success in this role is driven more by conceptual mastery, adaptability, and the ability to navigate a fastmoving but processheavy environment. A major component of this role is partnership and oversight-ensuring the managed services partner meets expectations, adheres to SLAs, and operates as an integrated part of the team. So they will technically have a year from their start date to move within the county** - Bachelor's degree OR equivalent work experience - 10-15 years of progressive IT experience - 10+ years in systems support / integration / design - Brownie points if they have any background in the public sector Preferred: Microsoft (MCSA, etc.) Cisco (CCNA/CCNP) VMware Certified Professional Azure Administrator or AWS Administrator *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $40.86 - $45.67/hr.
