*Position Overview*
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support provider data maintenance and onboarding efforts within a growing healthcare environment. This role is critical to ensuring accurate provider information is maintained, directly impacting claims processing and communication across the network. This posting is for an existing vacancy. *Key Responsibilities* * Manage high-volume provider updates, including phone numbers, addresses, and fax information * Accurately update records across multiple providers simultaneously (up to 10 at a time) * Add new providers into internal systems with a strong focus on data accuracy * Review and verify data to prevent errors that could result in claim denials * Prioritize and process updates efficiently while maintaining quality standards *Required Skills & Experience* * Strong knowledge of medical terminology * Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer applications * High level of computer savviness and ability to navigate multiple systems * Strong attention to detail and accuracy *Additional Qualifications (Preferred)* * Experience with managed care or healthcare database systems (Amisys preferred) * Fast and accurate typing skills, including 10-key proficiency * Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities * Strong interpersonal and customer service skills * Ability to consistently meet production and quality benchmarks *What You'll Get* * Opportunity to join a rapidly growing healthcare organization supporting expanding provider networks * Strong potential for career growth and internal advancement * Exposure to healthcare operations-great entry point into the industry * Collaborative team environment *Work Environment* * Team-based setting in a cubicle workspace * Initially onsite; opportunity to transition to hybrid after ~5 months based on performance and training completion *Why This Role Matters* This position directly supports provider onboarding and data integrity. Accurate work ensures providers are properly connected within the system and helps prevent delays or denials in patient care services. *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of Fairfield, CA. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
