Hotel Housekeeper

As a member of the hotel housekeeping team, this position is responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms to hotel standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to remain on your feet throughout the shift.

Daily tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Cleaning bathrooms and guest rooms
  • Making and preparing beds
  • Vacuuming and dusting
  • Laundry and folding
  • Restocking linens and supplies
  • Organizing and stocking back-of-house areas
  • Assisting with other miscellaneous housekeeping tasks as needed

Schedule:

7:00am-3:30pm, Sunday-Thursday, with occasional Friday and Saturday availability as needed.

(The hotel is closed on many major holidays, including July 4, Thanksgiving, and an extended winter break over Christmas and New Year's.)

Wage

$17.00 per hour

+$2.50 per hour differential, for hours worked between 6pm - 6am

+$ .80 per hour differential, for hours worked on Saturday and Sunday

+Time and a half per hour for hours worked on designated legal

holidays.

  • Cleans rooms as assigned and according to guest requests
  • Cleans and maintains hallways and common guest areas
  • Maintains organization of supply areas and equipment and requests additional supplies as needed
  • Documents and reports repairs, violations, and other building needs
  • Directs relations and interactions with customers to accommodate their needs
