As a Security Guard Driving Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and other security-related protocols appropriate to an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with campus contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, common areas, and campus grounds for policy violations, maintenance concerns, and other security-related issues, and report observations according to post procedures.
• Support a respectful campus environment by assisting with directions, information requests, and routine security-related interactions while maintaining detailed activity and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
