As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Westborough, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. In this role, you will support site personnel and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication while reflecting Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.65 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all persons at the location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, and/or contractors in accordance with location protocols for a chemical and petrochemical environment.
• Support compliance with location rules by observing for suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or operational concerns that could impact people, property, or business continuity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
