ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Sr. Director, Growth & Engagement to define and lead the next generation of consumer-facing experiences that drive engagement and differentiate the FOX One platform. This leader will own a portfolio of high-impact product areas spanning personalization, search, and interactive experiences across sports, news, and entertainment.

This role is focused on envisioning and building innovative ways for users to discover, engage with, and interact with content-unlocking new forms of participation, deeper fandom, and more dynamic viewing experiences. In parallel, you will lead product growth and monetization efforts, including ad experience, experimentation, and subscriber acquisition optimization across channels translating into measurable business impact.

You will lead and scale a high-performing team while partnering cross-functionally to bring bold, consumer-first ideas to life.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and drive the vision for innovative, consumer-facing engagement experiences that differentiate the FOX One platform

  • Lead product strategy for discovery and engagement capabilities, including personalization, search, and interactive features

  • Champion new formats and features that deepen user engagement across sports, news, and entertainment (e.g., interactivity, real-time experiences, participatory features)

  • Own product growth and monetization strategy, including ad experience and engagement-driven revenue opportunities

  • Establish and scale experimentation frameworks to rapidly test and iterate on new concepts and features

  • Partner with data science to evolve personalization and recommendation capabilities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, content, and business teams to bring innovative ideas to market

  • Build, mentor, and lead a team of product managers focused on growth and engagement

  • Define and track success metrics tied to engagement, retention, and monetization

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Extensive experience leading product teams focused on growth, engagement, or consumer-facing innovation within a DTC or streaming environment

  • Proven track record of launching differentiated product experiences that drive user engagement at scale

  • Experience with personalization, search, or recommendation systems

  • Strong background in product growth, experimentation, and data-informed decision-making

  • Experience working with ad-supported or hybrid monetization models

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and scale high-performing teams

  • Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

  • Experience building interactive or real-time features, particularly in sports or live content environments

  • Familiarity with emerging engagement paradigms (e.g., gamification, social/viewing interactivity)

  • Background in zero-to-one product development or incubation within larger organizations

  • Experience working across multiple content verticals (sports, news, entertainment)

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $179,000.00-290,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
