Lead and evolve Associated Bank's Total Rewards strategy to attract, retain, and motivate top talent across the enterprise. This role shapes compensation, benefits, and recognition programs while advising executive leadership and the Board on market trends and pay strategy. You'll play a critical role in aligning rewards to business performance, financial priorities, and long-term growth.

What you'll do:

  • Drive the design and evolution of Total Rewards programs, including executive compensation, incentives, equity, benefits, and recognition.
  • Lead enterprise compensation strategy, including job architecture, pay structures, and incentive plan design to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Partner with the CEO, CHRO, and Board to provide strategic guidance on executive pay, governance, and compensation risk.
  • Oversee health, welfare, retirement, and well-being programs, ensuring strong vendor performance, cost management, and colleague experience.
  • Align Total Rewards strategies with business and financial objectives through close collaboration with Finance and senior leaders.
  • Leverage analytics and market benchmarking to inform decisions, optimize program effectiveness, and guide competitive positioning.
  • Advise HR Business Partners and leaders with data-driven insights to support talent attraction, retention, and performance outcomes.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing Total Rewards team while contributing to enterprise-wide HR strategy and workforce planning.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of compensation and benefits leadership experience, preferably in financial services
  • 10+ years of people leadership experience

Preferred

  • Master's degree
  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification
