Job Description

This position is required to teach a new class on Mammalian Ecology based at the Ozark Research Filed Station. Our field classes at ORFS are very popular with S&T students, thus helping with the retention of our current students. There are already some students registered for this class, so canceling it would be very disappointing to them. The instructor will be responsible for teaching the content of the class and evaluating the performance of registered students. They will use campus resources, including ORFS setting and the online Canvas system, to deliver the content of the class.

Qualifications

The instructor should have an advanced degree (MS or PhD) in conservation ecology and a knowledge of mammal taxonomy and ecology.

Application Deadline

Applications will be accepted until this position is filled.

Benefit Eligibility

This position is not eligible for University benefits. Individuals in non benefit eligible positions may choose to participate in the Tax Deferred Annuity Plan (403b). For information about this plan, please visit the Faculty & Staff Benefits website at https://www.umsystem.edu/totalrewards/benefits.
