Job Summary and Responsibilities

Acentra Health is looking for a Labor & Timesheet Management Coordinator to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

The Labor Coordinator / Timekeeping Specialist administers timekeeping and labor charging compliance for a 3,000-employee government contracting workforce, including SCA-covered, salaried, and hourly employees. This role ensures accurate and timely time entry within UKG and proper labor coding aligned with Deltek Costpoint project structures and DCAA expectations.

The position supports payroll and timekeeping processes designed to meet government contracting compliance standards, including CMS audit expectations and Service Contract Act (SCA) requirements. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation, supporting labor charging integrity, enforcing timekeeping controls, and ensuring payroll costs are allocable, allowable, and properly recorded.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily timekeeping compliance across exempt, non-exempt, and SCA-covered employees
  • Review and resolve timekeeping issues, including missing time entries, late approvals, incorrect labor codes, and post-approval corrections
  • Ensure SCA employees charge time consistent with wage determinations and assigned labor categories
  • Run compliance exception reports prior to payroll processing to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Coordinate labor corrections with supervisors and maintain documented approval trails
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities in UKG and Costpoint, including new hire setup, terminations, and daily updates in Costpoint
  • Train employees and managers on timekeeping policies and government compliance requirements
  • Maintain documentation and record retention in accordance with audit standards
  • Support accurate labor postings in Costpoint and ensure timely external labor tracking updates
  • Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.

The list of responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other education- and experience-related duties that management may deem necessary from time to time.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of timekeeping or payroll support experience, preferably in a government contracting environment
  • Hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint timekeeping
  • Working knowledge of project labor coding structures within Costpoint
  • Experience supporting non-exempt timekeeping and overtime compliance
  • Strong understanding of SCA timekeeping requirements and compliance sensitivity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting DCAA, CMS, or other government audits
  • Familiarity with FAR timekeeping requirements and labor charging controls
  • Experience working in a multi-state, multi-contract environment

Experience in Lieu of Degree

For non-clinical roles, or when not required by the contract specifically, the Company acknowledges that practical, hands-on experience can provide skills and competencies equivalent to formal education. As such, in cases where a Bachelor's degree may be required, the Company will accept a minimum of six (6) years of directly relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree. In instances where the candidate has an Associate's degree, the Company will accept a minimum of three (3) years of directly relevant professional experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree.

USD $63,600.00 - USD $79,500.00 /Yr.
