ROLE SUMMARY:
We are seeking an Global Events and Field Marketing Lead to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of Quanterix's global event portfolio across Quanterix, LucentDx, and Quanterix Spatial. This role will be responsible for elevating how the organization shows up in the market through high-impact scientific, commercial, and brand experiences.
The Global Events and Field Marketing Lead will own the end-to-end global events strategy, including event narrative development through working with Product Management and internal Experts, booth and event experience design, budget oversight, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment. This is a highly visible role that sits at the intersection of marketing, product, commercial leadership, and external engagement. This role will manage an Event Manager.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Global Event Strategy & Leadership


  • Develop and own a unified global events strategy across different business units and markets
  • Align event portfolio to corporate goals, product launches, scientific priorities, and commercial pipeline needs
  • Define success metrics and measurement framework for event impact (lead generation, engagement, brand equity, pipeline influence)


Messaging & Narrative Development


  • Partner with marketing, product, and scientific teams to translate complex science into compelling event narratives
  • Ensure consistent storytelling across all touchpoints (booth, presentations, pre/post event campaigns, digital assets)


Booth & Experience Design


  • Lead creative direction for global trade show booths, scientific congress presence, and immersive brand experiences
  • Partner with external agencies to deliver modern, high-impact, and scientifically credible environments
  • Ensure design reflects innovation across Quanterix, LucentDx, and Quanterix Spatial platforms


Event Execution & Operations


  • Oversee execution of major global conferences, regional meetings, symposiums, and customer events
  • Manage event logistics, vendor relationships, contracts, and production timelines
  • Ensure flawless execution from concept through onsite delivery and post-event follow-up


Budget Ownership & Financial Management


  • Own global event budget planning, forecasting, and spend optimization
  • Evaluate ROI across events and make data-driven investment recommendations
  • Ensure efficient allocation of resources across brands and geographies


Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management


  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, R&D, Medical Affairs, and Marketing Leadership
  • Serve as the central point of coordination for all event-related initiatives
  • Influence senior stakeholders to align priorities, messaging, and event presence


Team & Vendor Leadership


  • Manage external agencies, production partners, and event vendors
  • Manage an Event manager
  • Establish best practices, playbooks, and scalable processes for global execution
  • Other duties as necessary


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:


  • 8-10 years of experience in global events, experiential marketing, or field marketing (life sciences or biotech strongly preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Event Management, Public Relations, or Communications.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale scientific or industry trade shows and congresses
  • Experience managing complex budgets and external vendor ecosystems


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Experience in diagnostics, life sciences tools, biotech, or research markets
  • Familiarity with scientific conferences (e.g., SFN, AACR, ASCO, neuroscience, oncology or immunology congresses)
  • Exposure to spatial biology, biomarker science, or translational research markets
  • Ability to operate in a highly matrixed, cross-functional environment
