ASC PHYSCN DIPLOMATE

Direct and oversee all medical care rendered to patients within the Emergency Department while on duty. Supervise the clinical care, procedures, charting, and interactions with patients and staff by residents, interns, students.

The position requires a license to practice medicine issued by the California Board of Medical Examiners and Board Eligibility or Certification in Emergency Medicine. At ZSFGH, this position also requires maintaining certification as a Base Hospital Physician.

Required Qualifications

• Requires possession of a license to practice medicine issued by the California Board of Medical Examiners.
• Must have completed Emergency Medicine residency training or be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• Must maintain up to date appointment and privileging at their designated hospital(s).
