Senior Geospatial Project Manager (NV5 Air Force Program)
Overview The Air Force Senior Geospatial Project Manager will perform project management duties including; developing and executing project plans, gathering requirements and acceptance criteria, developing work breakdown structures including affiliated timelines, monitoring and submitting deliverables, managing project budgets and schedules, and defining project risks. This is an agile team who executes the work according to scrum methodologies. Within the NV5 eGIS business unit this position will serve as a project manager for the Air Force Geospatial Program. This dynamic and growing program currently supports the Air Mobility Command (AMC). The successful candidate will be required to work onsite at Scott Air Force Base (AFB) where the AMC team is housed, and it is expected that this PM will provide real-time project progress reporting, support the execution teams, and serve as a primary POC to the federal clients. Success is defined by meeting or exceeding clients' expectations within budget, on schedule and with a focus on excellence in customer communications and flexibility through agile project management techniques. Previous geospatial project management experience or technical skills is preferred given the nature of the programmatic work. In addition to project management activities, this position will contribute to the growth of the eGIS business by identifying eGIS opportunities, supporting our account managers with opportunities identified by related company teams, representing NV5 at industry events, and other eGIS business development activities, as necessary. Long term, there are growth opportunities to expand leadership in the Air Force portfolio. Work Environment:
