This requires close collaboration between Production, Quality, EHS, Continuous Improvement, and Engineering.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will plan for and manage the inspection and maintenance of our Mount Olive, New Jersey fragrance manufacturing facility. This includes related infrastructure, electrical and mechanical equipment, and production machinery. Your goal is to ensure that the site runs operations without undesired disruptions and at optimal capacity level.

  • Strategy design and execution Provide input to the local Operations business plan and related goals with regards to production capacity, schedule of critical maintenance activities, changes in equipment, and spare parts inventory. Adapt and implement functional strategies locally and design and complete related tactical and operational plans.
  • Function management Lead a team of maintenance specialists which executes maintenance activities. Apply preventive maintenance plans and maintenance support to optimize availability/reliability of plant equipment and prevent business disruption. Define budgets based on maintenance requirements including resources, materials, and duration. Conduct audits/inspections to ensure compliance of installations of equipment. Identify, recommend, and deploy improvements to correct non-compliant situations or optimize productivity. Provide support to engineering projects concerning operative procedures and equipment/installation trials.
  • People management Oversee the execution of annual human resources processes for the local Maintenance team and validate related results. Work with local Operations and regional/global management teams and HR Business Partner(s) in developing a local talent pipeline for the function. Drive the development and promotion of talents within the function.

You?

  • University degree equivalence in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Plant Engineering or Maintenance certification.
  • Work experience of 7+ years in manufacturing or plant operations
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in people management.
  • Proficiency in industrialization and engineering projects including building, process installation and utilities, from design stage to hand-over.
  • Knowledge of stake-holder management and communications.

Education and experience partly determine Job Title and Base Salary, and our compensation program guidelines do so. Percentage Annual Bonus also. Target base pay is $125k - $160k per year.
