A Security Specialist is responsible for conducting fraud investigations, performing security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and compliance, monitoring bank security equipment and promote security protocols and procedures to protect personnel, assets, and facilities. Position can be based in Iowa City or Dubuque, IA.
As a Security Specialist, you will:

  • Be a point of contact for employees to address security concerns.
  • Provide advice to customers who are involved in frauds and scams.
  • Enforce security matters for compliance of protocols and procedures.
  • Aid staff in the maintenance of banking equipment.
  • Support physical security systems made up of physical and card access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, identity management, and monitoring systems, including performing monthly or quarterly audits to ensure compliance with set standards and procedures.
  • Monitor video surveillance, alarm, and card access systems.
  • Evaluates incidents involving damage to property and/or injuries sustained on Nicolet National Bank premises, involving customers and employees.
  • Collaborates with appropriate teams in identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining security processes, practices and policies to reduce risks, respond to incidents, and limit exposure and liability in areas of information, financial, physical, personnel and reputational risk, whenever possible, any future occurrences
  • Acts as liaison with local, state and federal law enforcement authorities on security matters
  • Liaison with or member of various committees where safety and security concerns are relevant.
  • Training of employees to current standards; review and understanding of training requirements; conduct training sessions; evaluate comprehension of material.
  • Uphold Nicolet's philosophy and policies by maintaining appropriate controls to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, thereby fulfilling legal responsibilities and enhancing the quality of services provided by Nicolet.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Associate degree or comparable experience.
  • Computer experience required in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
