Air Liquide Electronics is looking for an Analyzer Technician. Ideally, you bring a passion for the care and optimization of all Analytical Equipment at the facility. In this role, you will provide diagnostic support, repair, testing, documentation, project coordination, and preventative maintenance to help our team advance our technical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and sustaining preventative maintenance for site instrumentation such as calibrations, including the thoughtful maintenance of records.

  • Resolve and diagnose instrumentation equipment needs, including taking corrective and preventative actions to advance plant or machine performance.

  • Guide instrumentation projects from scoping to implementation, including preparing the scope of work, bidding out projects, scheduling, and partnering with contractors to ensure quality.

  • Nurture the analytical spare parts program to ensure team readiness.

  • Support other maintenance crafts as needed to foster a collaborative work environment.

  • Committed to a safe work environment for everyone, prioritizing personal and team well-being.

  • Align with all Air Liquide Policies & Procedures to maintain our high professional standards.

  • Support the Safe Work Permit Process, including preparing Pre-Job Plans, executing LOTOs, hot work safety, and confined space safety.

  • Collaborate closely with lead production technicians, maintenance coordinators, and the plant manager to support daily facility needs.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 5+ years of experience with Gas Analyzer, Metrology or Instrumentation.

  • Familiar with terminology and technical knowledge of equipment such as transmitters, PLCs, analyzers, gas chromatography.

  • Familiar with safe work practices, safety procedures and other safety requirements.

  • Draw and read electrical and PLC diagrams.

  • Safely work on electrical equipment.

  • Climb ladders and work off elevated platforms/surfaces.

  • Work in a non-conditioned environment for extended periods.

  • Able to enter confined spaces for inspection, testing and work.

  • Wear appropriate PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, FRC, and steel toed shoes.

  • Has full range of motion and ability to lift 50 lbs.

  • Ability to work callouts, nights, weekends, & possible holidays

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical Associates Degree

  • Semi conductor experience

  • Instrument and electrical background
