Reporting to the Department Manager, the Billing Coordinator I plays a key role in supporting accurate and timely reimbursement by preparing, reviewing, and submitting insurance claims for assigned accounts. This position is responsible for managing primary, secondary, and tertiary claims, resolving claim denials, processing account adjustments, and coordinating refund documentation and mailings. The Billing Coordinator I works collaboratively with internal teams to ensure efficient billing operations, compliance with organizational standards, and exceptional service. Salary Range: Minimum 15.00/hour - Maximum 24.09/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
