About the Opportunity

Are you super creative and detail-oriented? We're looking for a self-starter with excellent judgment and communication skills who has a good eye for what performs on various platforms.

WeWork is looking for a skilled video professional who has a strong background in post production and video graphics. The ideal candidate will also know scripting and storyboarding, and have experience in shooting high-quality multi-media content.

Reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer in New York, you'll collaborate with colleagues on the broader Marketing, Communications and Public Affairs teams with a focus on supporting the Content and Social Media Marketing teams, to help translate the WeWork brand for both internal and external audiences..

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, create, and post-produce best in class video content for social, internal, and marketing purposes.

  • Take a hands-on approach to managing multiple creative assignments during all stages of development, from ideation through post-production.

  • Create storyboards and scripts that align to the marketing video goals.

  • Produce 2D animations for video content.

  • Align with relevant teams on content calendars, production schedules, producing high-quality content that is to the deadline.

  • Help build WeWork's brand awareness and value proposition through engaging, industry-leading video content.

  • Record and edit video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/SFX, media management and archiving project media.

  • Manage library of digital visual content, such as video, photographs and graphic assets.

  • Producing for the social team's multi-faceted content needs, including shooting stills when necessary (DSLR shooting required) and designing simple creative graphics.

  • Evaluate analytics and use insights to refine content strategy.

About You

We'd love to hear from you if you meet the qualifications below:

  • 5+ years' experience producing video content for brands or media

  • Proven editorial skills and a reel of highly-viewed content you've created for digital and/or social channels.

  • Experience with video graphics and 2D animation.

  • A passion for being super creative and detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about social trends.

  • Experience in growing brand awareness

  • Inherent understanding of what makes a short-form highly engaged videos for social

  • Proficient in DSLR shooting

  • Proficient across the entire Adobe Creative suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator preferred)

  • Graphic design capabilities

  • The ability to work in a high-paced environment in which deadlines may vary

  • A strong bias towards action-you like to get things done

  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects simultaneously

  • Highly collaborative team player who loves working with others on creative projects, but comfortable owning projects end to end

Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay:$85,500 to 114,000 annually

Incentive Compensation:WeWork employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan specific to their role. Your recruiter will detail what incentive plan is applicable to this specific role. WeWork incentive plans are subject to the terms of the applicable incentive compensation plan, which will be made available to you after commencing employment. WeWork reserves the right to amend its incentive plans, and nothing in this job requisition or any other document creates a right to a specific incentive plan payment.

Benefits:Full-time employees are eligible for comprehensive benefits (subject to the terms of applicable plans/policies/agreements, which will be made available to you after commencing employment), including: 20 days of PTO, approximately 13 paid holidays, and 80 hours of paid sick time per full calendar year; 16 weeks paid parental leave; competitive healthcare benefits; 401k plan; and life and AD&D insurance.
