What You'll Do
  • Source, negotiate, and procure high-value Capital Expenditures (CapEx) including state-of-the-art fabrication equipment, cleanroom infrastructure, and specialized machinery from global suppliers
  • Manage end-to-end supply chain for consumables (e.g., wafers, chemicals, gases, and process materials), ensuring 99.99% uptime and cost optimization at terascale volumes
  • Develop strategic supplier relationships, mitigate risks through dual-sourcing and localization strategies, and drive cost reductions YoY
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to forecast demand, integrate supply chain data into Tesla's real-time planning systems, and enable rapid scaling
  • Lead RFPs, contracts, and logistics for just-in-time delivery to support aggressive construction timelines
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery in a fast-paced, vertically integrated environment

What You'll Bring
  • Experience: 8+ years in supply chain/project management within high-tech manufacturing (semiconductor, EV, or pharma preferred); proven track record managing $100M+ CapEx procurements or megaprojects
  • Skills: Expertise in global sourcing, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), contract negotiation, and supply chain analytics; PMP/CPM certification or equivalent; strong in data-driven decision-making with tools like Tableau or Python
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding semiconductor supply chains (e.g., ASML, Applied Materials), or large-scale CapEx (e.g., fab construction); of cleanroom tech, experience with volatile markets and geopolitical risk mitigation
  • Soft Skills: Thrives in ambiguity, excels at cross-functional leadership, and passionate about sustainability and innovation; ability to relocate to SF Bay area
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent experience

    Expected Compensation
    $84,000 - $324,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
