Senior Residency Program Coordinator - OBGYN

Description

The Senior
Residency Program Coordinator is responsible for managing a wide range of
programmatic and operational activities for two ACGME-accredited residency
training programs within the Departments of Obstetrics & Gynecology
(OB/GYN) and Urology. Working in partnership with the Residency Program
Coordinator, this role provides comprehensive support to more than 66 residents
and serves as the primary liaison for Program Directors, Site Directors,
faculty, and the Graduate Medical Education (GME) Office on all residency
program matters.

The individual
in this role will also join a collaborative Medical Education team of nine
members, contributing to a shared mission of supporting medical student,
residency, and fellowship programs. Annual Salary Range: $70,900.00 -
$145,200.00. Please note, the department's target salary range is $70,900.00 -
$85,000.00.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related and/or equivalent combination
    of education and experience.
  • 2-3 years experience coordinating an educational program(s)
    in an academic medical center
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and web based applications
  • Presents and expresses ideas and information clearly and
    concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience, whether oral or written.
    Actively listens to what others are saying to achieve understanding. Shares
    information with others and facilitates the open exchange of ideas and
    information.
  • Open to change and new information; adapts behavior and
    work methods in response to new information, changing conditions, or unexpected
    obstacles. Acclimates quickly to new situations warranting attention and
    resolution.
  • Demonstrated commitment to knowledge
    development/professional development
  • High degree of initiative and independent judgement
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills;
    demonstrated attention to detail. Ability to complete work and meet established
    deadlines in an accurate and timely manner, and to prioritize short and
    competing deadlines.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to interact
    collegially with faculty, staff, learners and outside contacts to carry out the
    mission of the educational program(s) or initiative(s)
  • Manages confidential information discreetly and responsibly

Preferred:

  • Comprehensive understanding of UCLA policy and procedures
