What to Expect The Cell Quality Team is a specialized R&D group focused on ensuring reliability across incoming materials, production processes, and field performance of Li-ion cells. This role focuses on designing, building, andmaintainingsoftware systems and automation tools to support cell quality workflows, data integrity, and cross-functional collaboration. The engineer will lead the development of scalable applications, APIs, and data pipelines that enablecell testing andfailure analysis workflows. The ideal candidate will combine strong data engineering skills with a focus on automation, data systems, and cross-functional project leadership. This role directly enables the Cell Quality team's mission by delivering robust software tools that accelerate failure analysis, reduce field returns, andmaximize the performance of Tesla's battery products.
