What to Expect
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to support our group by ensuring the success of key analytical dashboards and software applications leveraged by Tesla Global Supply Chain teams. You will be part of a team that is managing strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts across all of Tesla's Global Supply Chain Teams. You will be responsible for building and maintaining full stack applications that support various use cases such as Supply Chain Management. Our UIs are built with React and are powered by PHP in the backend. We collaborate closely with our stakeholders, focus on extensible design systems, and obsess over open-source quality solutions to create scalable applications. We move quickly and aspire to always delight our users with wonderful interactions.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to the complete software development lifecycle for Supply Chain UI applications, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and meet high-quality standards
- Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications, utilizing React, PHP and Python and web tooling to create highly performant and scalable user experiences
- Implement rigorous testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, to guarantee the reliability and performance of applications under various conditions
- Actively maintain and promote the core values of the team, which include engineering excellence, curiosity, a bias for action, self-awareness, inclusivity, and vulnerability, contributing to a positive and productive team culture
- Work closely with Product Manager and Engineering to figure out requirements and resolve problems
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science or equivalent experience
- Supply Chain knowledge is preferred
- 4+ years of experience in web application design and development
- Experience in design, development and testing of web software applications, version control preferentially GIT, HTML and semantic markup, CSS responsive design
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript/ES6+
- Experience with >=PHP 8. ReactJS, TypeScript, Splunk, MySQL
- Experience with D3.js, AG-Grid, and other data visualization and analytic libraries
- In-depth knowledge of web fundamentals (HTTP, HTML, REST, JSON) And API development with emphasis on REST API's
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, as well as managing deployment infrastructure for web applications

Expected Compensation
$140,000 - $210,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
