Within Azure Data, the business intelligence team builds and maintains Power BI which is the undisputed leader of BI tools in the industry today and serves as the bridge between data professionals & Office users.Power BI's core value proposition is to enable end users to get answers & insights from their data through data visualization.

Responsibilities

* Own experiences that span across desktop client, web client and server-side components
* Craft, finetune and maintain AI solutions; prompt, skills, context engineering, and evaluations
* Deliver world-class user experiences and planet-scale cloud services to customers in collaboration with senior engineers, UX designers, and product managers
* Design, code, test, and develop features with good quality, maintainability, and end to end ownership
* Own the end-to-end life cycle of your features, frominceptionto managing it live on production
* Maintain customer focus, considering current and future needs when designing and implementing features

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:

  • This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,100 - $202,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,800 - $219,200 per year.
