Overview

Our client is seeking a Communications & Engagement Consultant to support a large-scale transformation and employee engagement initiative across North America. This role is ideal for a strong communicator and storyteller who thrives in a fast-paced corporate environment and enjoys balancing communications, project coordination, and event support.

This individual will play a key role in driving internal engagement efforts through compelling content creation, executive presentation support, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, visually creative, and excited to grow within a dynamic transformation-focused team.

Key Responsibilities


Internal Communications & Content Development

  • Draft and edit engaging internal communications including newsletters, intranet articles, FAQs, leadership messaging, communication plans, and internal announcements
  • Support content creation for internal campaigns and organizational initiatives
  • Help simplify complex business updates into clear, employee-friendly messaging
  • Maintain and manage editorial calendars and communication timelines


Executive & Presentation Support

  • Develop polished PowerPoint presentations, briefing materials, and talking points for leadership meetings and internal events
  • Translate data and business updates into visually compelling storytelling materials
  • Ensure consistency in messaging, branding, and presentation design across communications


Project & Change Support

  • Support communications-related workstreams tied to transformation and change initiatives
  • Assist in the development and rollout of communications playbooks and engagement strategies
  • Partner cross-functionally with project teams to ensure alignment and timely execution of deliverables
  • Manage shifting priorities and contribute across multiple projects simultaneously


Event Coordination & Engagement

  • Coordinate logistics and execution support for internal events including town halls, quarterly meetings, workshops, and leadership sessions
  • Manage agendas, timelines, run-of-show documents, and meeting coordination for both virtual and in-person events
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and internal activation efforts


Platform & Communications Management

  • Post and maintain content across internal communication platforms and collaboration tools
  • Ensure communication resources remain updated, organized, and accessible
  • Assist with communications reporting, tracking, and organizational support as needed


Qualifications


Required Experience

  • 7-9 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, employee engagement, content development, or related fields
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Experience supporting communications within a large, matrixed, or international organization
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships across teams


Technical Skills

  • Advanced PowerPoint skills with a strong eye for presentation design and visual storytelling
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Experience with intranet or internal communications platforms
  • Familiarity with newsletter or email campaign platforms preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, or similar creative tools is a plus
  • Adobe Campaign experience is a plus but not required

Ideal Background
