Department OverviewThe Market Intelligence function is a dedicated strategic team within the Chief Marketing Organization designed to embed evidence-based insights into our global strategy. This capability serves as the primary engine for identifying emerging market trends and evolving customer needs, ensuring our brand maintains a distinct and resonant value proposition. By synthesizing high-fidelity research, this team optimizes our market positioning and resource allocation to drive long-term, sustainable growth in a dynamic landscape. Job Description

You will work collaboratively with the marketing teams to develop and executive marketing strategies and programs. This role will be instrumental in developing and executing marketing strategies that resonate with the unique needs and challenges of our government and enterprise clients in these key industries, as well as sales enablement content to support key business priorities and objectives of our Sales organization. The Market Intelligence Analyst position offers exceptional marketing experience in a dynamic and highly collaborative environment where your ideas are valued.

In this role, your intelligence gathering will focus on:

Primary & Secondary Research: Conduct targeted desk research on key enterprise and government vertical industries.

  • Customer Research: Help build buyer profiles and customer journey maps. You will use data and research to ensure our marketing reaches the right person at the right time.

  • Firmographics: Compile data on enterprise structure, size, and growth metrics to inform high-value target identification.

  • Value Proposition Alignment: Ensuring our marketing programs are impactful and directly address the "unique needs and challenges" of sophisticated B2G and B2B buyers.

Cross-Functional Marketing Support

  • Vertical Marketing Integration: Assist in the creation of industry-specific marketing collateral by distilling customer requirements into clear, value-driven messaging for government and enterprise sectors.

  • Insight Synthesis: Assist in transforming high-fidelity research and raw data into "Executive Briefs"-concise, scannable updates that inform the CMO's strategic decision-making.

Resource Library Management:

  • Repository Curation: Curate and maintain an internal repository of market intelligence, ensuring easy access to the latest evidence-based insights.

  • AI-Augmented Workflow: Actively leverage AI and automation tools to streamline data aggregation, accelerate research, and synthesize insights, ensuring core focus remains on strategic interpretation and decision-making.

Target Base Salary Range: $60,000-$65,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 0-1 years of experience; prefer marketing internship/co-op experience
